The NEC Storage NS420 fully supports RAID, hotplug technologies and redundant configurations, enabling both the online exchange and addition of hard disk drives. Coupled with the “point in time” snapshot capability of the Persistent Storage Manager (PSM) feature the NEC Storage NS420 is able to ensure high data availability.

deployment, installation and management of NEC Storage NS420 appliances is easy to perform, reduced to a minimum by configured to order systems, plug and play start-up and browser based administration. The NEC Storage NS420 supports existing Windows® 2000 software for optimal manageability, and its IIS, Clustering, Network load balancing and WMI tasks give leading-edge functionality.
