Jack Stone is LEGO's action hero who is always around to help when there's danger or a daring rescue to be performed. Jack is the master at changing whatever is nearby into something really useful and his ideas are just about as wild as a child's imagination. This Jack Stone adventure takes place in a garage/service station. The main LEGO service station provides all of today's motoring essentials--not only can the inhabitants of LEGO world refuel their cars from one of the two petrol pumps, but they can also grab some fast food from the very modern service station shop. Jack Stone is a LEGO garage mechanic, a true master of the enclosed vehicle ramp and foot-operated LEGO jack. Also enclosed is a pictoral instruction booklet--in all building the set will take an adult no more than 15 minutes. Children should be able to manage the construction themselves from six or seven years of age, though it will take them longer. The instruction booklet doubles as a storybook, illustrating a 16-scene adventure cameo to flame the imagination of your favourite little LEGO adventurer. Naturally however, as with all LEGO, the fantasies and adventures are limitless. This is a good adventure combining creative construction with classic garage and rescue roleplay. A good gift for children aged 4-9 years. --Donna Rossignol
