Scrabble Classic is the Rolls Royce of Scrabble games. It has polished wooden tiles, wooden tile racks and a classic game board. This is a return to real class--just like buying a vintage car. Scrabble play consists of forming interlocking words from letter tiles, rather like a crossword. The object of the game is to score the highest number of points by making the longest words using the highest scoring tiles. Each player has seven letter tiles that are replenished after each turn and forms a word on the board with two or more letters from his rack. Players can only add letters to those already played, either forming new words or modifying those already laid. Scores can be hugely boosted by forming words across the double and triple letter score spaces and double and triple word score spaces. The game ends when all the tiles from the pool have been taken, and either one of the players has used all his tiles or no-one can form any more words. The player with the highest score wins. Scrabble seems to have been around forever and been forever popular. This classic edition is one for those who like to play in real style. --Ben King
